THE LEAD TUBE PROPHECIES

ROLLING THUNDER is the first book that made me see that Christian Eschatology and the prophecies of Nostradamus are synonymous. J. R. Jochmans recounts how Nichol Rycempel, a monk in Berlin, Germany in 1944, discovered a tube of lead that had been hidden in the walls of the Church of St. Paul during the nineteenth century.

Taking the tube from the burnt ruins of the church, he found a document inside written by a Benedictine Monk over a century before. It contained one-line predictions from 1900 until the year 2000.

THE LEAD TUBE PROPHECIES SOLVED

I have discovered in these insuing 38 years, that the predictions from 1979 and 1985 are crucial to identifying similar prophecies written by Nostradamus. I have been able to solve a few of the Lead Tube Prophecies conclusively, and these give startling validation to the rest of the Lead Tube Prophecies that Jochmans published. Some, however, still remain a mystery that I leave to the ingenuity of the reader.

Below, I provide Jochmans' listed prophecies between 1979 and 2000 with what I believe are the solutions.

For those years when world events did not stand out clearly when juxtaposed to the corresponding prediction in the Lead Tube Prophecies, I have provided the most notable events for that year. My selection is highlighted in red.

I first posted these prophecies in October 2007, because 1985 and 1999 are so critical to decoding major characters from The End of Days according to my interpretations of Nostradamus.

Going over these predictions in 2017, it is interesting to note the symbolic events that have occurred in conjunction with a predicted event. Those important oddities I have highlighted in green. After studying eschatology for 35 years, the connections become evident. My commentary is highlighted in blue.

Please pay special attention to the prophecy for the year 2000. It was a great oversight on my part. It gives supporting evidence on why I believe The Miracle at Fatima appears in Nostradamus' Epistle to Henry.

1979
DEATH OF JUDAH

MY CHOICE:

The Israeli and Egyptian Peace Treaty is signed on September 17^th.

ROME WITHOUT A PETER

MY CHOICE:

Pope John Paul II began his travels across the world.

1) Nearly two decades later, John Paul II would be the first Pope to visit Israel.

TRIUMPH OF WORK

MY CHOICE:

The first space shuttle, Columbia, is launched.

1) Pope John Paul II was shot in St. Peter’s square on May 13^th.
2) President Ronald Reagan was shot on March 30^th.
3) Prince Charles and Diana Spencer were married on July 29^th.
4) 52 American hostages in Iran were released on January 14^th.
5) The first cases of Acquired Immune Deficiency syndrome were reported.

THE NEW MAN

MY CHOICE:

There are no clear choices.

1) Leonid Breznjev dies and Yuri Andropov becomes the Soviet Union’s new leader.
2) Prince William is born to Charles and Diana.
3) Helmut Kohl replaces Helmut Schmidt as Chancellor of Germany.
4) Fahd becomes King of Saudi Arabia upon the death of his brother, Khalid.
5) President-elect Bachir Gemayel assassinated in Beirut; Amine Gemayel then elected.

MY CHOICE:

Religious conservatism takes hold in the United States.

1) U.S. President Ronald Reagan initiates the Ballistic Missile Defense Program.
2) The Soviet Union shoots down South Korean flight 007.
3) The U.S. embassy in Beirut is bombed killing 40 people.

William Gibson pens the term cyberspace in his novel “Neuromancer”.

1) The Star Wars (SDI) Political debate.
2) A chemical disaster in Bhopal, India kills thousands on December 3^rd.

THE VOICE OF ANTICHRIST

MY CHOICE:

Barack Obama began his "Community Organizing" in 1985, two years after he was hired by the CIA front company Business International Corporation.

1) March 11^th, Mikhail Gorbachev appointed General Secretary of the Soviet Union.
2) Earthquake in Mexico kills thousands.
3) Volcano eruption in Columbia kills thousands.
4) The Swedish Primer, Olaf Palme, is assassinated.

FIRE FROM THE ORIENT

MY CHOICE:

The number four nuclear reactor at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant in Pripyat, Ukraine explodes on April 26^th, 1986. Radioactive fallout fell across Ukraine, Belarus, and Russia.

On February 24^th, 2022 Russia invaded Ukraine. Allied with Russia, nuclear weapons have been forward deployed in Belarus.

GLADE OF CROSSES

There are no clear choices.

1) The largest stock market drop in history occurred on October 19^th.
2) The United States and Soviet Union sign the INF agreement.
3) Jim Bakker’s affair with Jessica Hahn is made public.

MADNESS ON EARTH

MY CHOICE:

George H. Bush is elected as the President of the United States.

1) Skull and Bonesmen, George H. Bush, Magog, the founding Emperor of the Empire of Chaos.

EXPECTATION BY MEN

MY CHOICE:

The collapse of the Berlin Wall occurs on November 9^th, 1989.

1) It leads to the end of Communism, and the expectation of global peace.
2) Cold Fusion is announced in March.
3) Protests in Tienamen Square in Bejing, China lead to the deaths of 3000-7000 people.

MY CHOICE:

Hubble Telescope Placed in Orbit – The pictures of deep space have redefined humanity's place in the Universe.

1) Germany Reunification – On October 3^rd, 1990 Germany reunified.
2) Iraq Invades Kuwait - Saddam Hussein sends 100,000 troops into Kuwait.
3) The United States sends 500,000 troops to Saudi Arabia.

The Soviet Union Ends - Boris Yeltsin was elected as the first President of Russia.

World Trade Center Attacked – February 26^th, Muslim terrorists detonate a bomb that kills five people.

1) Euthanasia in the Netherlands – Assisted suicide is legalized in the Netherlands.
2) Waco Massacre – ATF agents raid the Branch Davidian compound in Waco, Texas.
3) Mid-East Peace Accords - Israel and the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) sign peace accord.

MY CHOICE:

Civil War in Rwanda – Hutu troops shot down a plane carrying the President of Rwanda and Burundi. Their war with the Tutsi kills 500,000 people.

2) Comet Shoemaker-Levy Strikes Jupiter – 21 comet fragments bombard Jupiter.

1) Turkey Earthquake – In August an earthquake in central Turkey kills 13,000 people.
2) Creation of the Euro – Spain, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, Belgium, Netherlands,
3) Portugal, Finland, Greece, Ireland, and Austria issue a common currency.
4) The United Kingdom, Denmark, and Sweden choose to continue using their own currency.
5) NATO Air Forces begin a 78-day bombing campaign against Serbian targets.
6) The Panama Canal is returned to Panama.

2000
TRIUMPH OF THE OLIVE

MY CHOICE:

The Vatican's formal Holy Consecration of Russia.
1) Pope John Paul II apologizes for the wrongdoings of the Roman Catholic Church throughout the ages.
2) Pope John Paul II begins the first official visit by a Roman Catholic pontiff to Israel.

I completely missed this low-key event. I cover it extensively in Nostradamus and the Third Age of Mars.

1) Pope John Paul II released the Third Secret of Fatima on June 26^th, 2000.
2) On June 27^the, 2000, the Vatican held a press conference with Russia's former-leader, Mikhail Gorbachev, in attendance. The Holy Consecration of Russia follows the prophecies of Fatima and Edgar Cayce.

2024 INSIGHTS

1979 - DEATH OF JUDAH

After Israel’s declaration of war on Hamas after the October 7^th, 2023 attack, its invasion of Gaza on October 27^th, 2023, and now the United States attacks on Yemen on January 11^th, 2024, my interpretations of Nostradamus’ prophecies, as well as other prophecies, seems to be correct.

The Israeli and Egyptian Peace Treaty were signed on September 17^th, 1979. The Ayatollah Khomeini took power in Iran after the Shah went into exile.

A war between Israel and Iran is close. Nostradamus predicted that Israel will be conquered. Prophecies in Islamic Hadith also predict that Black Flags from Iran will conquer Jerusalem.

Russia's Poseidon Status-6 nuclear torpedo that is designed to cause massive thousand-foot tidal waves to drown cities in long-lived cobalt radioactive water.

“So great a flood and so sudden”, “that there will be no land to attack” leads a series of Quatrains that point to an extensive nuclear naval battle in the Aegean Sea. This was included in The Clinton Triplicate Series for a reason.
